LotF Chapter 5 Response

          There was one thing in chapter 5 of "Lord of the Flies" that made me start thinking. In chapter 5, one of the littluns claimed that they saw the beastie and then gives an explanation of what the beastie does and then everyone freaks out. I started to wonder if the littlun just said that to get everyone to freak out and get disorderly or if he actually thinks that he saw the beastie. If he did do it to make everyone freak out, then I don't know why he'd do it or what would be to gain from doing that.
