LotF Chapter 8 Response

          I thought that Chapter 8 was pretty weird. Between how the hunters killed the pig and how Simon wandered off and discovered the "Lord of the Flies". It was just a weird chapter to me. The weirdest part of the chapter to me wasn't how the hunters killed the pig, since their kind of savagery is to be expected at this point, but how when Simon went to the forest and started having hallucinations about the "Lord of the Flies". I thought that this was the weirdest part because since the hunters are already savages, it was weird that Simon started acting weird because it kind of seemed like he was one of the only normal ones amongst the boys.
